Did you hang up your boots at any time between 1940 –2011? If so please join us for
A Major Players Reunion
on Saturday 4th February 2012 at Donnybrook (Old Wesley v Bective Rangers - AIL - KO 2.30pm)
This day is for anyone who played for Old Wesley RFC over the last 6 decades at any level from 1st XV to the glorious 3rd Fs.
All of us who played rugby on whatever team agree the best part of all was the friendships made and the fun on and off the field. It does not matter if you have not been involved for years; in fact you are exactly the ex- players we want to see in the club again.
The date for the reunion is the 4thFebruary 2012 when there will be an A.I.L game against Bective at 2.30 in Donnybrook. A hot roast roll, a pint of beer or a glass of wine, and free entry to the game all for just €10. This will be served upstairs from 1.30pm
If all of you who read this contact 2 people minimum with whom you played and encourage them to join you, we can really get the ball rolling and create a huge crowd of ex-players remembering how great they were back in the day. Even better if you can take a leadership role and bring as many of the team you most identified with in your playing days.
This is purely a social occasion for everybody’s enjoyment and there will be no obligations or request for membership on the day.
