Students and staff of St. Vincent's Secondary School and Ashton School in Cork who met on Mary Elmes Bridge in the city and presented a piece of art on behalf of both schools to the Lord Mayor, Cllr. John Sheehan, and also exchanged artworks which commemorate the achievements of Mary Elmes. Included in the picture are James Deane, principal; Rosemarie Ferriter, deputy principal, teaching staff members Jill Neill and Saskia Lassmann from St. Vincent's Secondary School and Adrian Landen, principal, and teaching staff Jane O'Shea and Mark Ewart from Ashton School.
